That was the perfect mix between hard scifi and handwaving things for the sake of narrative and for the sake of making everything more beautiful and exhilarating. That was also the cause of many a nerdgasms because of the mechanical desings and the way they were animated. The rest was 10/10 too, but I guess these are the two main reasons this will forever stay in my hall of fame.
